Chef Calvo is not only a JWU alumna and past “Chopped” participant, she is the head chef and owner of Chef Adrianne’s Vineyard Restaurant and Bar. 

The event was open to the public and a $2,000 scholarship was awarded to a student from the university’s College of Culinary Arts. Not only did we get a unique dining experience, but we were part of spreading the love of food to other JWU students.

Recipients have included culinary greats like Thomas Keller and Martin Yan, as well as acclaimed JWU alums like Michelle Bernstein '94, “Top Chef” winner Kevin Sbraga '03, Timon Balloo '00, Adrianne Calvo '04 and Emeril Lagasse '78.
