Valentine’s Day Dinners Under $150

Valentine’s Day is here again, so if you haven’t made your dinner reservations yet, well… newsflash: you’re late. And while we can’t tell you how easy it will be to make a last-minute reservation, one thing you won’t have to stress about is the price. Fortunately for you, Miami has a range of options for romantic bites priced at $150 or less (including drinks, tax and tip!) – like our favorites, listed below.

Point Royal at The Diplomat: Celebrity chef Geoffrey Zakarian debuts his Coastal American concept, Point Royal, reminiscent of a mid-century modern seaside home. Cozy nooks in a casual mixture of rattan, linen, and bronze elements are perfect for a flirtatious night out. Impress your date with an over-the-top raw bar selection with standouts such as Marinated Bay Scallop in spicy cilantro aioli and melon broth ($16) and decadent seafood towers starting at $45. Couple those options with a Creamy Ricotta Agnolotti served with local blue crab and lemon beurre fondue ($24) or a whole grilled Florida Snapper ($36). Point Royal officially opened February 12th, and is located inside The Diplomat Beach Resort at 3555 S Ocean Dr, Hollywood, FL 33019

Lantern Garden at Phuc Yea: Transport yourself into a mini Asian garden surrounded by lush tropical plants and softly lit with hanging silk lanterns. For a flirtatious night out, nosh on several of our favorite shareable bites including Bao Buns ($8), Crispy Tofu ($9) or Lobster Summer Roll ($16). Valentine’s isn’t complete without a bottle of Rosé ($50) making this a perfect romantic date under $100. Phuc Yea is located at 7100 Biscayne Boulevard and is open on Friday 6PM until 10PM. 660 at The Angler's: Celebrate love at 660 at The Angler’s charming hideaway nestled in South of Fifth. Enclaves of candle lit tables for two are surrounded by bougainvillea and string lights. For just $50 per person, nosh on dishes like Savory Steak Tartare and Pan Roasted NY Strip. Spend a tad bit more and enjoy unlimited cava for $65 per person. 660 at The Angler’s is located inside the Kimpton Angler’s Hotel, at 660 Washington Avenue. Reservations are recommended, and can be made by calling (305) 534- 9600. It will be open for Valentine’s Day day dinner from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. The cava is endless for up to two hours and 15 minutes after the reservation time.

Dragonfly Izakaya and Fish Market: If you’re in Doral, make a date night at Dragonfly Izakaya and Fish Market. Available either a la carte or as an $85 prix fixe menu (per couple!), this contemporary Japanese pub has whipped up a five-course dinner just for the occasion. On the menu? Hamachi Lavender sashimi, Tako, Ossobukko, Ikasumi Yaki Meshi and a surprise V-Day dessert. Top off this experience with wine starting at $11 by the glass and $30 by the bottle. or Happy Valentine’s Day, indeed! Dragonfly Izakaya and Fish Market is located at 5241 NW 87th Avenue. Il Mulino South Beach: In the Il Mulino New York tradition, classic Italian cuisine melds with Art Deco scenes on beautiful South Beach. Blending the sophistication of New York with elegance at the heart of the South of Fifth neighborhood, enjoy exquisite dishes paired with an extensive selection of wine.

Toscana Divino: Sitting at the bottom of Mary Brickell Village, this sexy Tuscan spot invites romancers to celebrate their love with a four-course, San Valentino dinner. Priced at just $65 per person, the menu will include Citrus Capesante scallops with mixed greens, Tortelli Di Mare with red shrimp and a Calvisius caviar bisque, Dentice al Cartoccio snapper with Mediterranean vegetables, and for dessert, a Tris of Passion Fruit. Use your remaining $35 to pair your romantic meal with a bottle of wine from Toscana Divino’s wine list, and you and your date will be living la dolce vita in no time. Toscana Divino is located at 900 South Miami Avenue. Reservations are recommended, and can be made by calling (305) 930-8052. The restaurant is open daily from Noon to 11 p.m.

The Restaurant at The Raleigh: For just $75++ per person, you and your honey can enjoy a prix fixe dinner under the stars. With its beautiful Banyans, hanging lights and poolside views, The Restaurant at The Raleigh sets the stage for one heck of a romantic evening. For the food? Feast on Seared Foie Gras with leek marmalade, sweet and sour cherry jus, mustard seed and croutons; Lobster & King Crab Risotto with roasted corn, uni and coconut; Wagyu Beef Duo with braised short rib, beef tenderloin, chanterelle mushrooms and marsala jus; and for dessert, a Manjari Chocolate Tart with hazelnut cremeux and a roasted white chocolate crumble. Is your mouth watering yet? The Restaurant at The Raleigh is located inside The Raleigh Hotel, at 1775 Collins Avenue. Reservations are recommended, and can be made by calling (305) 612-1163. It will be open for Valentine’s Day day dinner from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.

PB Station: Priced at just $65 per person, the Pubbelly Boys’ Downtown Miami spot, PB Station, has a prix-fixe Valentine’s Day dinner for you and your love. On the menu, diners will find a Kumamoto Trio, Whole Roasted Flounder, Braised Lamb Shank, Passion Fruit Soup, Potato Fondant and more. Want to spend a little extra? Opt for the Bone-In Dry-Aged Ribeye for two for $18, and a half bottle of Champagne Rose Laurent Perrier Brut or Pommery Brut Royal NV for $40 or $77, respectively. PB Station is located inside The Langford Hotel, at 121 SE 1st Street. Reservations are recommended, and can be made by calling (305) 420-2205. It will be open for Valentine’s Day dinner from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m.
