Inside Lacoste’s Suite Life at the Miami Open
March 30, 2026On Wednesday, April 15, CARBONE VINO offers a refined exploration of the Rhône Valley — one glass, one course, and one story at a time.
In partnership with Château La Nerthe, one of the most historic estates in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, the restaurant will host an intimate tasting experience and four-course prix-fixe dinner dedicated to the depth, elegance, and enduring legacy of Rhône Valley wines.
A Celebration Rooted in Terroir
For more than five centuries, Château La Nerthe has stood as a steward of one of France’s most revered wine regions, where a mosaic of soils and natural springs shape wines known for their balance and finesse. This singular evening brings that heritage to Miami, offering guests a rare opportunity to explore the estate’s portfolio — including select library vintages — in a setting designed for both discovery and indulgence.
The evening begins at 6:30 PM with a Champagne reception, where Mozzarella en Carozza canapés set the tone for what follows: a seamless interplay of Italian culinary tradition and French winemaking excellence.
A Menu Designed for Pairing
At 7:00 PM, guests will be seated in CARBONE VINO’s Wine Room for a tasting experience and four-course dinner, where each dish is thoughtfully paired with wines from Château La Nerthe.
The menu opens with Radicchio & Gorgonzola and Baby Eggplant Scapece, offering a balance of bitterness, richness, and acidity that mirrors the structure of the evening’s first pours, including the 2022 Côtes-du-Rhône Blanc.
From there, the experience deepens with Pumpkin Agnolotti and Mario’s Meatballs — a pairing that leans into warmth and comfort while allowing the wines to reveal their layered complexity.
The third course introduces a more robust expression of flavor with Pork Chop & Peppers and Ribeye Tagliata, accompanied by Potatoes Louie and Garlic Broccolini — a moment where the bold character of Rhône reds, including the 2015 Châteauneuf-du-Pape Rouge, comes fully into focus.
The evening concludes with a curated cheese course and a final surprise from the Château, a gesture that underscores the sense of occasion and the estate’s enduring connection to its craft.
A Natural Pairing of Icons
As part of the CARBONE family, CARBONE VINO carries forward the signature dishes and unmistakable energy that have made the brand a dining institution, while introducing a dynamic wine program that invites exploration. The restaurant’s ability to pair its Italian-American repertoire with some of the world’s most respected wines makes it a natural host for an evening of this caliber.
Here, the experience is not simply about food or wine alone, but about the dialogue between them — a conversation shaped by history, technique, and a shared commitment to excellence.
