Following the success of its Winter Park location, AVA’s Coconut Grove outpost feels both transportive and grounded—an experience that channels the sun-washed Cyclades while remaining unmistakably Miami. At its heart, AVA is designed as a journey in three parts: a breezy open-air terrace, a sculpted indoor dining room, and AVA MM, an intimate, members-only retreat tucked discreetly within the property for those seeking a more secluded escape.

A Menu Rooted in Earth and Sea
The culinary vision is led by RDG Partner and Head of Culinary Chef Michaël Michaelidis, alongside Executive Chef Frédéric Aumeunier, whose combined sensibilities balance French technique with soulful Mediterranean flavors. The menu pays tribute to the Cycladic region, highlighting pristine ingredients and thoughtful restraint—where simplicity becomes the ultimate luxury.
Dishes like Aegean Tuna Ceviche and Mediterranean Seabass Carpaccio speak to the purity of the sea, while heartier offerings such as Lobster Pasta and Lamb Moussaka deliver depth, warmth, and a sense of tradition reinterpreted for today. Beginning in early January, AVA MediterrAegean expands its offering with the launch of weekend brunch—served Saturdays and Sundays from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.—bringing a relaxed, coastal rhythm to the Grove’s daytime dining scene.
The brunch menu is Greek-inspired and à la carte, celebrating the connection between land and sea while nodding to classic brunch comforts. Expect vibrant Aegean flavors, thoughtful cocktails, quality coffee, and an atmosphere that encourages lingering.
