The Ultimate Guide to Miami Spice’s Most Exciting Menus of 2026
August 10, 2026
The dramatic Downtown Miami newcomer is joining Miami Spice for the first time with two very different ways to experience its modern Japanese menu.
There are Miami Spice reservations you make for the value, and then there are the ones that turn dinner into an occasion. Yamashiro Miami is firmly in the latter camp.
Perched nine stories above Downtown Miami, the Japanese dining destination is making its highly anticipated Miami Spice debut with two distinct prix-fixe experiences: a three-course Sunday brunch for $40 per person and an elevated four-course Reserve Dinner for $95 per person, available Tuesday through Friday and Sunday.
With panoramic skyline views, dramatic interiors, and a menu that moves from pristine sashimi to American Wagyu, it's an enticing introduction to one of Miami's most talked-about new dining rooms.
A $40 Sunday Brunch Worth Waking Up For

Sunday brunch takes Yamashiro's Japanese sensibility and applies it to a three-course menu that feels decidedly more interesting than the usual eggs-and-mimosas routine.
For the first course, diners can choose the Tamago Sando, layering egg salad between pillowy shokupan, or the Cucumber Tataki dressed with togarashi amazu. Those looking to start with sushi can upgrade to the Truffle Yellowtail Roll, combining hamachi, chive, yuzu-truffle vinaigrette, and Chardonnay amazu gel.
The second course is where brunch gets particularly indulgent. The 10-ounce Bavette Steak Wagyu arrives with bone marrow teriyaki, while the Black Cod gets a Yuzu-Saikyo miso marinade. For an additional $10, there's Steak & Eggs with American Wagyu bavette, two eggs, and shiso béarnaise.
Sushi lovers may want to spring for the Hokkaido Harvest (+$15), an assortment of six pieces of sashimi, four pieces of nigiri, and a spicy tuna roll.
Dessert keeps the choices equally tempting: Azuki Pavlova with berry compote and miso caramel, French Toast with maple syrup, crème anglaise, and Isabella matcha, or Yamashiro's signature Miso Lava Cake, pairing dark chocolate with miso caramel and vanilla ice cream.
At $40 for three courses, brunch may just be the sleeper hit of Yamashiro's Miami Spice debut.
The $95 Reserve Dinner Goes All In

Dinner takes a more structured approach, with a four-course progression designed to showcase Yamashiro's modern Japanese cooking—and two signature cocktails are included with the experience.
Guests can choose from drinks like the Downtown Abby, mixing Rémy V with guava, lavender syrup, yuzu, and Prosecco; the tropical-meets-savory Hikari No Maho, made with tequila, Nigori sake, coconut, citrus, and wasabi pea salt; or the Yamashiro Skinny Margarita.
Dinner begins with Spicy Truffle Edamame and Cucumber Tataki before moving into Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice and Hokkaido's Harvest, a chef-selected presentation of sashimi and nigiri.
The centerpiece is a 10-ounce American Wagyu Bavette glazed with bone marrow teriyaki, accompanied by Miso Butter Corn with wasabi aioli and tofu crumbles and cauliflower with green goddess dressing.
And because some signatures are too good to save exclusively for brunch, the meal ends with the Miso Lava Cake, its dark chocolate center balanced by salty-sweet miso caramel and vanilla ice cream.
Come for the Menu, Stay for the View

Part of Yamashiro's appeal has always extended beyond what's on the plate. From its ninth-floor perch, the restaurant pairs its contemporary Japanese cooking with sweeping views of Miami's skyline and a theatrical dining room that makes even a weeknight dinner feel like an event.
That combination makes its inaugural Miami Spice offerings particularly compelling. The $40 brunch provides an approachable way to discover the restaurant, while the $95 Reserve Dinner leans into the full experience with Wagyu, sushi, cocktails, and dessert included in one tasting menu.
For anyone who's had Yamashiro sitting on their Miami dining wish list, Miami Spice might be the excuse to finally make the reservation.
