October 9, 2015
Te quiero, Tequila!
Skip the shots and typical margaritas and opt for one (or two) of these 5 tequila-centric cocktails in Miami:
Tequila Sunrise at The Broken Shaker
The Broken Shaker | 2727 Indian Creek Drive, Miami Beach, FL
Photo Courtesy @TequilaPartida InstagramRecently named Best American Hotel Bar at the ninth annual Spirited Awards, The Broken Shaker mixes, shakes and stirs a bevy of unique craft cocktails. Sink into a vintage lounge chair by the pool and sip on Tequila Sunrise. A festive cocktail that will ease you right into the weekend.
Habibi Marguerite at Byblos
Byblos | 1535 Collins Avenue, Miami Beach, FL
Escape the heat and cool down at the recently opened Byblos. Byblos offers a variety of spirit infused Cold Teas inspired by a classic Eastern Mediterranean ceremony. Tease your palate with our favorite, Habibi Marguerite - a chili-spiced strawberry tea blended with Lime and Avion Silver Tequila, then garnished with cilantro. Served on an elaborate silver platter, the chilled tea is accompanied by a small dish of sweet strawberries soaked in a sugary glaze offering a hedonistic social experience.
Rooftop Spice at Touché
Touché | 15 NE 11th Street, Miami, FL
Touché’s rooftop oasis is an ideal escape from bustling Downtown Miami. Take in the urban, city views and sip on tonight’s specialty cocktail, the Rooftop Spice. Tequila shaken with fresh squeezed lime juice, agave, muddled jalapeño and raspberry, then garnished with more jalapeño and raspberry.
Trapiche at Drake’s Bar
Drake’s Bar | 1109 Brickell Avenue, Miami, FL
Toast the end of the work week in this intimate venue reminiscent of a classic British pub. Celebrate National Tequila Day with a special cocktail offered at just $7.50. The Trapiche is a thirst-quenching mix of Don Julio Blanco, Gran Marnier, Irish Mist, Monin Strawberry Syrup, 1 whole squeezed orange juice and a splash of cranberry.
